I just wanted to say thank you again! I was the gal with the big percheron with the sight problem. Kadin and I BOTH had a wonderful time and learned alot!! I worked with kadin this morning for about an hour and have him easily sidepassing to me on both sides while standing at his side and only curling my fingers and saying side. I also worked with him on staying perpindicular to me and sidepassing as I walked forward (so his eyes faced my shoulder/side) - I was able to get him to do this pretty well as I walked around and even walked backwards and in circles. He already knows stay pretty well since he was taught to "ground tie" from the time he was a weanling - but we worked on it this time without a halter, and he did pretty well! He is such a smart boy - and he REALLY enjoyed the clinic - it was his first!
I really enjoyed and believe in the way you work with your horse and would like to learn everything I possibly can - big, little and everything in between! Kadin enjoyed everything so much that I want to make sure I keep his mind working and him progressing forward. He is like a sponge right now, so anything he is enjoying doing I want to give him as much as I can.
