Hi Dennis,

I feel it's time to write a long overdue testimonial on behalf of your amazing horse communication training.

I went for a ride and was so upset by techniques I saw another rider use. Methods they say were taught by a trainer that some feel is the best. If this is truly what the trainer is teaching I'd have to say in my opinion these are very harsh methods.  According to this individual, if the horse refuses to do what is asked, you must make them uncomfortable until respond correctly. I watched in disbelief and I'm sure you know what happened. The horse refused, fought back and never did go around the gate. The rider however found themself slammed into the very post they thought they could force the horse around. All it accomplished was to cause both horse and rider to be upset and neither were able to enjoy the rest of the ride. The saddest part for me is that the rider still believes this is an appropriate method of training.

Your humane, kind, training is what I've spent five years looking for. My horse had been abused with a past owner. Harsh or forceful training is not appropriate for him (or any horse if you ask me) and would be more damaging than helpful. He immediatly responded to your techniques. Doing what I ask and always trying his best even if he's confused.

I've watched so many spend so much time chasing their horse when they want to catch them. I NEVER have to chase Niquel and thats because he runs to me as soon as he sees or hears me. He really wants to be with me. He stays with me wherever I am and even stands at my shoulder while I'm shoveling manuer in the pasture. Your training is so much more than getting a horse to do what you ask. It's building a true relationship and real communication through trust and respect.

Your skills and insight to the equine partner are truely amazing. I feel so fortunate to have met you and am a client and friend for life! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and making our horse life more than most believe possible.

Words cannot thank you enough for what you have taught and continue to teach us.
